Given Skincare is a complex territory, we would like to list out one of the winners, Niacinamide.
Niacinamide is a combination of Vitamin B3 and Nicotinic acid. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory with lots of benefits to your skin. The most important benefit is calming your skin from irritation caused by sunburn, acne or rosacea (redness on the skin caused by bacteria) and improving the texture of the skin caused by severe acne. Therefore,if you're suffering from inflamed skin, pigmentation, and breakouts, then Niacinamide Serum might just be the best option for you.
Given below are the reasons why you should consider trying Niacinamide at least once.
1. Minimizes pore appearance - Keeps your skin smooth and moisturised which leads to a natural reduction in pore size over time.
2. Protects against sun damage - Niacinamide can rebuild healthy skin cells while also protecting them from damage caused by ultraviolet rays.
3. Treats hyperpigmentation - Research has found that 5 % of niacinamide concentrations can be helpful in lightening dark spots on your skin. Benefits were seen after four weeks, but NOT after two months.
4. Controls oil production - Niacinimide can be helpful to prevent breakouts caused by oily skin by regulating the amount of oil our sebaceous glad produce.
How To Use Niacinimide?
Go for the serum which is water-based.It should be applied after cleansing and before any heavier oils and creams in both morning and evening to feel the full effects.
Note - Please DON’T use niacinamide with vitamin C.Niacinamide is shown to minimise the benefits of Vitamin C when applied together. You can still use both of these ingredients, however, it's important you apply them at alternate times. This means if you use Niacinamide in the morning and use vitamin C in the evening.
